Marylebone Cricket Club is one of the World's most active Cricket Clubs, the owner of Lord's Ground and the Guardian of the Laws and Spirit of the Game.
With around 200 full time staff members covering a wide range of sectors - from IT to Chefs to Pavilion Stewards - there is a role at the Home of Cricket for everyone.
Our Lord's Shops have a wide range of clothing, headwear and gifts and souvenirs available, so you can own your own piece of memorabilia from Home of Cricket.
There is no dress code at Lord’s within our general public stands, however we do not allow fancy dress.
Please note the Dress Regulations for the North and South Wheelchair Areas in the Warner Stand can be found in the Members’ Friends’ Enclosure section.
The dress code for hospitality venues is smart casual. Casual trousers, smart jeans and tailored shorts are acceptable. Sports trainers and flip flops are not permitted.
The minimum standard of dress required to enter the Upper Mound Stand, and the Debenture areas of both the Compton Stand Balcony and Edrich Stand Balcony is smart casual.
Jackets are not required, but gentlemen must wear collared shirts (even when a collared sweater or jacket is worn on top) at all times in the stand. Trousers and shorts must be tailored, although denim is acceptable.
Please note, flip-flops and torn, ripped or unclean clothing are not permitted.
A formal standard of dress applies in the Pavilion on all match days.
Gentlemen
A tailored jacket or blazer with a collared shirt;
Tie or cravat;
Tailored trousers (chinos, corduroys or other formal trousers); and
Footwear appropriate to a formal setting with socks which cover the ankle.
Ladies
Dress;
Skirt;
Tailored trousers with a top or blouse; or
Other clothing that is appropriately formal, including jumpsuits; and
Footwear appropriate to a formal setting
We will not accept admittance in denim, or dilapidated or offensive garments of any kind.
Footwear
For the avoidance of doubt, footwear not appropriate to a formal setting includes flip flops, strapless sandals, branded/leisure trainers, canvas shoes, walking shoes/boots and running shoes. Please note that this list is not exhaustive.
