In 1999, Chris Cairns claimed figures of 6-77 to help New Zealand to their fifth win in 80 tests matches against England.

New Zealand then went on to get 358 in their first innings and managed to restrict England to 229 in their final innings. New Zealand knocked off the total one down to seal victory against the host’s. 

Cairns led from the front with the ball and helped New Zealand to their 5th win in the 80 test matches against England. Cairns cemented his spot on the honours board with impressive figures of 6-77.
