This match is a landmark occasion for the Home of Cricket as it’s the first Women's Test match to have been played at the Ground, exactly 50 years on from when Rachael Heyhoe Flint led out an England Women's team at Lord's. To mark the occasion, we will be celebrating with a host of former England players in an opening ceremony on Day One on Friday 10 July.
This will see fifty of England’s most celebrated female players reuniting to ring the iconic Lord’s Five-minute Bell before the first ball. This amazing group of women includes legends such as Enid Bakewell, Claire Taylor and Isa Guha.
There will be family-friendly activities for all to enjoy across the Test, including face-painting, glitter tattoo artists, giant garden games and musical entertainment, including Indian dancers and the Rock Choir joining us on Day Two.
The Vitality Performance Centre is also delighted to offer free 45 minute Taster Sessions for kids on Days One, Three and Four across the Women's Test. Ticket holders with an U16 can book the sessions here.
